Day 01: Arrival & Srinagar local Sightseeing
Srinagar.
Srinagar, The Summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, is a stunning city located in the Kashmir Valley. Srinagar is a treasure trove of natural beauty, rich culture and warm hospitality. The city is famous for its nine old bridges connecting the two parts of the city.
Places to Visit :-
Dal Lake: Dal Lake is a freshwater lake in Srinagar. it is an urban lake, the second largest lake in Jammu & Kashmir and also the most visited place in srinagar by tourists and locals. Because of its calm waterways, magnificent surroundings, houseboats, floating market places and picturesque vistas, this place is not less than a Paradise. Dal lake is an enchanting destination that encapsulates the essence of Srinagar’s natural beauty, cultural heritage and vibrant traditions. Visitors can take a relaxing shikara ride, gliding through the calm waters while enjoying the panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Nishat Garden: The second largest Mughal garden in Kashmir built in 1633 by Asif Khan, the older brother of Nur Jahan. This garden is located on the eastern bank of dal lake with the Zabarwan mountains as the back drop and is also known as “the Garden of Bliss”.
Shankaracharya Temple: An ancient hindu temple dedicated to lord shiva. it is situated on the top of the Zabarwan range in Srinagar. The temple is at a height of 1000 feet above the valley floor and offers breath taking views of the Dal lake and the srinagar city.Saniskrit & means “Adobe of Love”.
Shalimar Garden: the largest Mughal garden in Kashmir, built in 1619 by the Mughal Emperor Jahingir for his wife Empress Nur Jahan. The name ‘Shalimar’ comes from
Hazratbal Shrine: also known as Dargah Sharif hazratbal or simply hazratbal is a revered muslim shrine located on the banks of Dal Lake in srinagar. Hazratbal Shrine is considered one of the holiest shrines in Kashmir, housing a relic belived to be a hair of the of the Prophet Muhammad. This Shrine was built by Sultan Sikandar Shah in 1394 but the current structure dates back to the 17th century.
Chashma Shahi: This garden is built in 1632 by Mughal Governor Ali Mardan Khan, commissioned bu Emperor Shah Jahan for his eldest son, Dara Sikoh. The garden is named after a mountain spring that waters it and it is situated on the zabarwan range, overlooking the stunning Dal Lake.
Day 02: Day tour to Sonmarg
Sonmarg.
The name Sonmarg means “The Meadow of Gold” is a hill station located in the Ganderbal district of Jammu & Kashmir at an altitude of 2730 meters (8960 feet). It is located about 80 kilometers from Srinagar. Sonmarg is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, stunning natural beauty and picturesque meadows. Sonmarg has no permanent settlement and is inaccessible during winter due to heavy snowfall and avalanches. Sonmarg provides glaciers like Kolahoi Peak and trekking routes leading to Vishansar Lake, Krishansar Lake, Gangabal Lake and Gadsar Lake in the Himalayas, which are stocked with snow trout and brown trout.

Zero Point: What makes Sonmarg truly special is the Zero point location. This place is on the border between Kashmir Valley & Ladak Plateau hence its called Zero point. Situated at an altitude of 3480 metres (11420 feet), Zero point is the point where the snow never melts. Even in the peak summer, the snow at Zero point remains frozen. It is the unique feature that has made Sonmarg a popular destination for both Indian and foreign tourists. This mountain pass is located in the Zoji La mountain range and is approachable from both the Srinagar-Leh highway and the Kargil-Leh highway. Thajwas Glacier: Famously called the “Hidden jewel of Kashmir”, Thajwas Glacier is one of the most renowned places for trekking in Jammu & Kashmir. Thajwas galcier lies at a distance of 3 kilometers from Sonmarg and is an exquisite beauty situated 3000 metres above sea level covered in all snow almost through out the year. The 3 kilometer long trek passes through lush green pastures and beautiful forests and ends at a viewpoint from where you get a clear view of the glacier. The glacier is one of the main sources of water for the Sindh River which flows through the Sonmarg valley.
Day 03: Srinagar to Pahalgam. Night stay at Pahalgam

This place is the mist visited place in Kashmir. It also serves as one of the important paths that lead to the Annual Amarnath yatra in Kashmir. Pahalgam is famous for its forests, crystal clear lakes and sprawling meadows. The lidder river in Pahalgam is renowed for its captivating beauty and its significant role in the region. The Saffron fileds: Kashmir is famous for its high quality saffron which is cultivated in the fields of Pampore in district Pulwama of Kashmir, where the soil and climate are suitable for its growth. The saffron fields are a sight to be hold, especially during the blooming season, which typically takes place in October and November. The Saffron crocus is the flower from which saffron is extracted. Its cultivation is a labor-intensive process, as the flowers must be hand picked and the stigmas extracted and dried. Kashmiri saffron is considered to be the highest & finest quality due to its distinctive flavor, aroma and color.
Biasaran: Biasaran valley, located just 5 kilometers away from Pahalgam in the Anantnagh district of Kashmir, is famous as a top sightseeing destination , called Mini-Switzerland because of its picturesque beauty. Apple Orchirds: Kashmiri apples are locally termed as ‘Chunt’. Kashmir is referred to as the famous fruit bowl of India. Apples in India bare largely grown in Jammu & Kashmir. Kashmir’s weather ultimately is the boon for the optimal growth of Apple and thus Kashmiri Apple is the king in quality. The apple orchards dotted with snow capped peaks rising above the horizon is a feast for the eyes. Kashmiri apple orchards are a sight to behold. The best time to visit Kashmiri apple orchards is between August and October. With September being the peak season. During this time, you can witness the apple harvesting process and even buy fresh apples directly from the orchards. The Awantipora Ruins: Located on the banks of river Jhelum, 28 kilometers away from Srinagar, in Pulwama distruct of Jammu & Kashmir, The Awantipora Ruins are a significant archaeological site that dates back to the 9th century. The ancient city was founded by king Awantivaraman, a Kashmiri Hindu ruler of Utpala dynasty who ruled from 855 to 883 AD. He built twin temples in Awantipore, one dedicated to Lord Vishnu, known as Awantiswami and the other dedicated to Lord Shiva known as Avantisvara. The ruins are testament to the rich history and cultural heritage of Kashmir. Day 04: Pahalgam Night stay

Chandanwari: is famous for being the base or starting point, to the famous Hindu pilgrimage sight, Shri Amarnath Yatra which starts in June and ends in august. Its is situated at an elevation of 2895 meters, and located about 16 kilometers from Pahalgam. It is blessed with picturesque beauty, and is famous for its sightseeing opportunities, as it is surrounded by snow caped mountains. Chandanwari is covered with snow from November till May, and you can watch the lovely sight of glaciers in the Lidder river.
Betab Vally: was originally known Hagan Valley or Hagoon, but came to be know by its present name and become extremely famous after the movie Betaab, which was shot here. it is located almost 09 kilometers from Pahalgam in Anatnagh district of Jammu & Kasmir. Gulmarg is located 60 Kilometers away from Srinagar which is around 02 hours journey by car.
